Al-Humazah begins with a man's tongue and ends with a fire that closes over him. Between the two is the reason: he gathered wealth and counted it, and thought it would make him last.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ…كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
Woe to every scorner and backbiter who gathered wealth and counted it, thinking it would make him last.
Study days 1-2
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ…فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
The kindled fire of Allah that reaches the hearts, closed over them in outstretched columns.
Study days 2-3
The slander and the hoarding are named in the same breath — the surah treats contempt for people and love of money as one disease.
