An-Najm is the surah of the Night Journey's second half: it swears that the Prophet did not speak from desire, describes what he saw at the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary, and then dismantles the three goddesses of Makkah by name.
At this pace the whole surah takes 21 study days.
Study days are days you actually sit down to memorise — miss one and the plan simply moves with you.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ…لَقَدْ رَأَىٰ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ
The oath by the star, revelation taught by one of great power, and the Lote Tree at the utmost boundary.
Study days 1-6
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱللَّٰتَ وَٱلْعُزَّىٰ…أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ ۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ
Names their fathers invented, conjecture that avails nothing against truth, and who is really guided.
Study days 7-11
أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى تَوَلَّىٰ…فَٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ ۩
That no bearer carries another's burden, that He causes laughter and weeping — and the closing prostration.
Study days 11-21
It was the first surah recited publicly at the Ka'bah, and it ends with a prostration that the idolaters present made along with the Muslims.
